Lise Ravn - Chairman Expand Lise completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Health Information Management) at Sydney University in 1999 and received a Graduate Diploma in Education from the Australian Catholic University in 2003. Lise has served on various boards in a volunteer capacity since 1999. In 2018 Lise moved with her children to Benalla where her eldest son attends EdSpace. Lise has been a school board member since 2018, Chair since 2019 and a board member of CBI since 2020.
Shantell Kocwin - Vice Chair Expand I have been honoured to serve as a Board Member for EdSpace since 2018 I feel my personal experiences of disabilities plus my advocacy skills, are an asset to the board. The needs of our students are my top priority. I have lived in Benalla for 4 years. I have 3 children who I adore, two currently attend EdSpace. I have previous experience on kinder boards as the fundraising coordinator for a period of 5 years in total. I currently have a Certificate III in Hospitality and am hoping to achieve my TAE soon.
Jennifer Wellard - Secretary Expand Jennifer is a founding member of Capability Building Inc. Jennifer has a certificate IV in Hair and Beauty, Business, TAE. Certificate III in Hospitality. I have sat on Business Womens's association, Kinder, Benalla East public School, Children with Disability, boards over the last 40 years.
Maggie Fanning - Principal Expand Maggie Fanning, RN, Post Graduate Certificate in Child Adolescent and Family Health, Registered teacher and co-founder and Principal/CEO of (CBI)Capability Building Incorporated trading as EdSpace Education and Training Centre. Previous Board experience in 2021-22 on Cooinda Village Aged care facility. I have had experience in rural areas working in nursing and midwifery. I have a passion for supporting young people facing difficulties in their lives who have disengaged from mainstream education through no fault of their own.
Jodie Feehan - Capability Building Representative Expand Personal Interests : I have been on the board of both Capability Building and EdSpace since 2012. I have held positions on both boards over the past years .I have also been involved in local Netball Basketball and football committees being involved in the running of the clubs as well as fundraising . Professional I am currently the director /educational leader of the Gumnuts Resort Day care and Kinda, servicing over 140 children . Rupert Conrick - Staff Representative Expand Rupert Conrick is a former EdSpace Student from Mansfield who after leaving EdSpace became a Ski Instructor, Then came back to EdSpace as a V.E.T Teacher for Sport and Recreation and Outdoor and Recreation. Rupert is passionate about promotiong education and inclusive learning and the outdoors.
